We currently have two branches, one in Lyme Regis, Dorset and one in Chard, Somerset
The Tackle Box, Lyme Regis, has been trading for around 20 years and covers approximately 800sq ft, with hardly an inch of uncovered wall space and over 250 different rods. So many people comment on the selection of tackle we provide. To some we are known as Aladin's Cave and to others, The Tardis, as it doesn't look like you could fit in as much as we have from the outside.
We stock a huge range of tackle from most major manufacturers including Savage Gear, Abu Garcia, Rapala, Okuma, Fin-Nor, Penn and many more, because we have been established for so long and buy in larger quantities we can offer top quality tackle at excellent prices. We sell live Peeler Crab, Rag, Lug and Maggots as well as frozen baits and coarse baits. If you have any specific live bait needs and can give a couple of days notice we should be able to get it in. Just ask!
We also have a branch in Chard, Somerset, which has a larger range of coarse and carp tackle, as well as game and sea tackle. We have a large range of rods, reels, rigs, nets and accessories. We stock live Maggots, castors, Denbrabena worms, lob worms and rag and lug worms. We also have a wide range of shelf life baits from Yorkshire Bait, Senas, Gulp! and Cotswold Bait Co. Our stock is increasing as quickly as we can put it all out, and soon The Tackle Box, Chard will be as much of a Treasure Trove as our Lyme Regis shop.
Our team are enthusiastic about their sport, and all fish regularly. They bring with them experience and knowledge to help advise you on the best tackle within your budget.
